Hi, I'm Gordon, the proud landlord of The Plough Inn.

Hospitality has been my life for well over 20 years. As a chef by trade, I've worked in fine dining restaurants, hotels, pubs, private events and catering, always with one simple goal: creating great food, serving quality drinks, and making people feel genuinely welcome.

The Plough Inn is everything I believe a proper British pub should be – a place where friends and families can relax, enjoy honest food made with care, a perfectly poured pint, and friendly service that makes everyone feel at home.

Whether you're joining us for a Sunday roast, a quick pint after work, a family celebration, or to watch some great music, my team and I are committed to making every visit memorable.

Our philosophy is simple:
